Martin Allen's post match reaction

After his side were held to a 0-0 draw at the Bescot Stadium, MK Dons manager Martin Allen gave his thoughts to the MK Dons official website - www.mkdons.co.uk.

"It was a good performance; I thought we were on top - we certainly weren't in any danger and I think we played well today - it was a proper team effort. Especially towards the end, when we were putting on players not to block pressure but we were putting them on to win the match because we had so much of the ball.

We perhaps could have been better in possession, however, when you've conceded goals like we have, for me personally, that was thoroughly enjoyable.

We hit the woodwork twice, there were two penalties - not two penalties, there were two incidents that perhaps could have been penalties but I won't say anything about that - our player was through on goal and fell over.

Why would he fall over if he was through on goal? But the ref saw it and the ref was closer to it and he didn't give either penalty, perhaps because Izale's so quick."
