League one rivals bid for Preston North End midfielder

League one rivals MK Dons have made a firm offer of £50,000 for Preston North End midfielder Eric Skora who impressed them during his loan spell at Walsall. Skora's short time at Bescot was a success, he scored 2 goals in 5 games with one goal being scored in the away draw at MK Dons. Skora's loan spell was cut short because of a injury sustained in the first half away at Oldham Athletic.

Injuries have blighted Skora's career so far, to such an extent he has only started 64 games and has only 16 sub appearences to his name since he joined Preston in 2002. 18 of these appearences were for Kilmarnock where he had a successful loan spell in the 2003/4 season.

The player has already proved however if he can stay fit he can cause major problems at this level but only if he can stay fit.

It is believed that Walsall would be Skora's favoured destination but Walsall are yet to of put in a firm offer. Talk in Preston is that Matty Fryatt leads their January wish list so perhaps Skora will be built into a Preston offer for Fryatt?
