Mark Yates, manager of Conference Premier club Kidderminster Harriers, has given a trial to former Aston Villa striker Stefan Moore.

Moore, who has been training with Harriers, scored twice in a practice match against Bewdley Town on Tuesday night. Yates plans for further talks with the 25-year-old, who has been without a club since ending last season on a short-term contract at Walsall. "

He's been training with us and done well," said Yates. "But as yet nothing has been sorted and we'll talk again." Moore whose younger brother Luke is still playing Premier League football with West Brom, had loan spells at Chesterfield and Millwall before leaving Villa for Queens Park Rangers in June 2005. He has since also been on loan at Leicester City and Port Vale before moving to Walsall in February following his release by QPR.
