Allaway is yet to make an appearance for the Sddlers having been signed as cover for regular number one Jimmy Walker after Aaron Kerr broke his wrist but the Leeds keeper is keen to impress in the hope of earning a permanent deal at The Bescot.

"I'm really enjoying it here," he told the Birmingham Evening Mail on Tuesday.

"I'd definitely consider staying longer, although of course Aaron will be back at some stage so I doubt whether I'll be needed then.

"I'd love to get a chance in the first team here, but there's no way I'd wish any misfortune on Jimmy Walker.

"Even if he doesn't miss any games I'm getting regular reserve-team football, which I wasn't any more at Leeds, and some good coaching which will stand me in good stead for the future."
