Keeper Boost

The official site is reporting that Andy Oakes should be passed fit to play against Scunthorpe tomorrow. Oakes was substituted at half time when we were 2-0 down against Brentford last week, a game that we went on to lose 5-0 with substitute goal keeper Luke Tilt conceeding 3 in the second half.

Oakes resumed training on Thursday, he is still suffering discomfort in his arm but it shouldnt keep him out of the game.

The fitness of Oakes is a huge boost. Rene Gilmartin is out with illness so that would have only left us with youngsters Luke Tilt and James McKeown to call upon. Both are youth team goalkeepers with little experience - 45 mins of first team football between them!
