Last updated : 17 December 2009 By Andy Van Hagen

FA CUPBrentford defender, Leon Legge, has been voted the E.ON Player of the Round for his performance for the Bees against Walsall in the  FA Cp Second Round.

Legge rose above the Walsall defence to head home his first goal for the club and the only goal of the game as they defeated the Saddlers to earn a Third Round tie at home to Docaster.  He also made a crucial last-gasp tackle to deny Steve Jones in the dying minutes.

Legge, 24, claimed 69 per cent of the vote, ahead of Kettering Town's ex-Saddler now player manager Lee Harper (18 per cent), David Lucas (11 per cent) from Swindon Town and Vincent Pericard (2 per cent) from Carlisle United.

Legge's prize is an E.ON Player of the Round trophy and two VIP tickets to this season's FA Cup Final which will take place at Wembley Stadium on Saturday 15 May 2010.
