International football returning to WS1

Walsall's Banks's Stadium will host the Women's European Championship qualifier between England and Belarus. The match will be played Saturday 27 October 2007 (1pm k.o)

The last time England played at Walsall was in May 2005. In front of just under 7,000 fans the Czech Republic went into an early lead, before four second half goals, of which two from were from local lasses Rachel Unitt, and an audacious Kelly Smith lob from all of 40 yards.
