Injury for Gerrard

Anthony Gerrard will miss the visit of Torquay United on Saturday. Our young centre back has sustained an ankle ligament injury after falling down steps at the end of a training session.

It is expected he will be missing for few weeks and looks likely to be replaced in the starting line up by fellow 'Scouse' Scott Dann. Another option would be Chris Westwood being brought back after recovering from injury.
