Huddersfield will not win many fair play awards

Twice in todays game a Walsall player has won and beaten his opposing man, for the Huddersfield player to then go down "injured", which then resulted in play being stopped several seconds later - while Walsall were on the attack. Neither time was there a serious injury to a player and both times the player could have waited for treatment when the ball has gone out of play. The re-start of play on both occasions was in the manner of a drop ball. Walsall both times were in attacting situations in the oppositions half, when the game was  paused. Losing an attack is frustrating enough,  I was expecting the ball to be hoofed up to our goalie both times, as a foul was not given against us either time. When the player went down play was stopped when our man was in space. Huddersfield contested both drop balls. The first Walsall won but it went straight out of play. The resulting throw in led to Huddersfield building an attack from which they their first goal!!

It must be considered if this is a tactic of Huddersfields to go down. On both occasions the score was level. This type of play wins no fans. Huddersfield have the talent to get out of this league by using fair means. Im sure they know that with a big crowd at home they get these sort of decisions. If it was us i can guarentee that treatment would not have been allowed until the ball had gone out of play.

Dont get me wrong im not blaming the result on this in such, but it certainly played a part as it was in the build up to Huddersfield crucial first. Of course our defending is to blame but this was a matter for discussion. Should play only be stopped if there is a CLEAR SERIOUS injury to a player?
