Hartlepool have three players in the team of the week!!

Despite losing 1-0 away to Walsall on Saturday Hartlepool United contribue 3 of the 11 players in the Football Leagues League One team of the week. Defender Michael Nelson and midfielders Richie Humphreys and Thomas Butler were the inclusions. There is no room for any of the Walsall players this week after contributing a player in each of the last 2 weeks.

Although it would be hard to argue Walsall deserve inclusions Hartlepool's defence conceeded a goal and the midfielders failed to score or assist a score. In fairness their midfield looked good and certainly controlled periods of the second half but it would be surprising if they were the best two midfielders in the league last Saturday!
