Harkness makes Loan Switch

Jonny Harkness who recently had a loan spell at Cambridge United has been farmed out on loan again, this time to join fellow Saddler Dean Coleman at Halesowen Town. The loan deal is for a month. Again this is a good move for Jonny as it guarentees the Irish youngster first team football, which he isn't likely to get with us. My only concern is the lack of cover we have in the left back position. Last month Daniel Fox got an injury and this lead us with great problems as we do not have another specialist left back at the club. Julian Bennett often gets moved across if needed but he looks uncomfortable with the position, Staunton is too slow for the position and Kris Taylor is out of favour and prefurs a midfield role.

Halesowen are currently in 10th position of the Southern League Premier Division.  They have won 4 out of 11 games but have only lost 2, drawing the rest.  They have conceeded 13 thus far this season and have scored 19.  The highlight of the season is the 7-2 win at home to Yate last week.
