Good news about Fryatt?

Various articles in the press today all say that Matty Fryatt is about to sign a new 2 1/2 year deal with Walsall! This will see him on a higher wage for the remainder of his time at Walsall and also puts Walsall back in control regarding what fee we receive for him. I expect a release clause will be written in saying he can talk to any championship + club that comes in for him with a £1m plus offer for example. If the deal is signed this will be great news for Walsall and a huge boost for Paul Merson who would of done a tremendous job in persueding him to put pen to paper. Matty may still leave in the jan transfer window but if not we wont lose him for next to nothing in the summer.
