Shrewsbury manager Gary Peters has spoken to his club's website www.shrewsburytown.co.uk ahead of his sides visit to the Bescot stadium.

"Walsall will be a totally different test than Barnet, they play a very strict 4-4-2 which is very hard to break down. They are a solid side and are top of the league, and there not there without deserving to be there.

They are a very strong defensive outfit, we've scored more goals than them but they are the best team in the division for not letting in goals.

It is a tough test but it also a local derby, we'll have a lot of supporters there and our lads love the local derby games. With local derbies it's not always about form or the best side these games can also throw up shocks and we want to do that.

Walsall have only been beaten at home the once this season in the League, that was against Swindon recently and until then I don't think anyone had scored a goal against them. It's a very, very tough place to go for every side so we'll have to be on top of our game.

They've got quality players all the way through their squad but they brought a lot of those players with them when they came down, they've changed a few players around now to add to the squad. They've brought in Butler whose done well for them, they've brought in Tommy Wright recently which is another plus for them.

They've also got some decent players who are working their way through, like Taylor and Fox on the left-hand side, they brought in Dobson in from Brentford, they've got a young lad called Wright who is a handful, a winger who causes problems and I like the lad Scott Dann, who is a good young player who will get better.

Then in goal they've got Clayton Ince, a goalkeeper who is as good as anyone in this division and is a handful.

We know Walsall are a good side but so are we at times, we've just got to be more consistent and it's a great time to raise our game"
