Fully-fit Saddlers

Walsall travel to Brentford with a fully-fit squad looking to avoid a hat-trick of defeats in their first three games of the season. Full-back Ryan McGivern has returned from international duty with Northern Ireland and is available, while central defender Oliver Lancashire recovered from a thigh strain to start Tuesday`s Carling Cup defeat to Tranmere. The Saddlers were disappointing in last weekend`s 2-1 opening-day reverse to MK Dons and less than impressive, although marginally improved, in the 1-0 loss to Rovers. And manager Chris Hutchings will be looking at ways to get more from his squad, especially in attack where they have looked toothless following the departure of Troy Deeney. One option could be to push winger Steve Jones into a forward position, while youngster Will Grigg could be promoted from the bench, with Alex Nicholls the man most likely to make way.
