Leicester City today signed Matty Fryatt on a 3 1/2 year deal. The fee is undisclosed but there will be add ons when Fryatt playes x amount of games, we will recieve a percentage if Leicester sell him on and we shall also recieve a fee if Leicester gain promotion.

Fryatt scored 30 goals in 50 starts and 23 substitute appearences. This season he scored 14 goals for us and will join Leicester needing to keep his goal scoring touch. Leicester are only one place above the drop zone, despite creating the most chances in the Championship they have the worst convertion rate. One thing for sure signing Matty Fryatt should be a massive boost to their survival hopes.

It will be interesting to see how Matty copes with the step up in class. My gut instinct says he will adapt quickly and score pleanty of goals.
