1. At the start of the season what were your pre-season hopes and aspirations?
Automatic promotion
2. Have you changed your thoughts now the season has started?
Well, as we are currently in 24th. place it's not going as anticipated. I'm sure that Sheridan has the capabilities of pulling things around and when we get our next win I think it will be the pivotal point of the season. In retrospect, I'm still hoping for a minimum of a play-off spot.
3. Has the arrival of Lee Hughes been greeted well by the majority of your supporters?
Yes
4. How has he settled in? Has he had any game time yet and if so what sort of reaction has he had from away fans to date?
His first game at Hartlepool was promising and he was unlucky not to score. In his second game he was showing some good touches but the team
preformance was dire and it was hard to judge. With better service I'm sure he will start banging them in. The fans have responded reasonably well to him, both home and away, considering the circumstances.
5. Similar progress check on Michael Ricketts. High hopes? How's he started? Likely to produce the goods for you?
Ricketts is slowly becoming the favourite of the Latics "boo-boys". The majority of supporters feel that he is not giving his all. Let's hope
he realises that this is the "Last Chance Saloon" for him so his career rests firmly at his own feet.
6. What's your opinion of Walsall FC?
A nice homely club much similar to ourselves.
7. How do you think we will fair this season?
I think you will struggle and might just avoid the relegation spots by one point or even goal difference.
8. Is there anyone in our squad you think - I'd like him in the Oldham squad?
Not particularly
9. Leeds - what do you think about their 15 point deduction? Was it fair?
Absolutely - Bates has got away with far too much. I was hoping for a bigger penalty than 15 points but I do feel for their genuine fans.
It's not their fault that they have been badly managed.
10. How will they end up this season?
They will just miss the play-offs by finishing in 8th spot.
11. Who should we look out for in the Oldham team?
