Forest offer cash plus player

Paul Merson has revealed in various press articles that he turned down a cash plus player offer for 19 year old striker Matty Fryatt.  The fee believed to be £500,000 and the player offered was David Johnson.  David Johnson is a player Walsall would be interested in, however his basic wage at Forest would be out of our budget.

Walsall are expecting Forest to come back with another offer this week, while they are also expecting other clubs to confirm their intrest in the player with firm bids.

An offer of around £1 million with a sell on clause is expected to be what Walsall are holding out for however if the right player is offered as part of the deal and is payed off by their old club this will lower our demands.
