Walsall's home game against Nottingham Forest will take place on November 4th after the original date was cancelled due to international call-ups. Forest were meant to come to Bescot Stadium on the 11th of October.

Forest have three players on international duty this weekend (two with Wales and one with Finland) and on-form midfielder Andy Reid has been placed on stand-by by the Republic of Ireland manager Brian Kerr.

Walsall also have players on international duty including on-loan Northern Ireland defender Chris Baird and Jamaican midfielder Jamie Lawrence.

Walsall's request to reschedule the game as soon as possible was upheld by the Football League despite Forest's wish to play the game later in November.

Colin Lee's side can now look forward to three consecutive home league games once they complete their sequence of three away games. Wigan visit at the end of October before Saddlers take on Norwich and Forest.
