The man from Portugal first arrived in England to join Colin Lee at the New Den. His previous clubs include Leixoes Sports Club, Vitoria Guimaraes (two spells), FC Maia, Gil Vicente and Uniao Leiria.
Carlos left Millwall in May after being unable to push his way into the starting XI. He made only one start for the Championship side in their relegation season and was linked with a move to Plymouth a few weeks back, but no deal was forthcoming.
Manager Richard Money was quoted a few weeks ago saying he would like a midfielder who could run with the ball. It seems Fanguerio is his man he has decided upon for this role.
It is expected that he will make his Walsall debut tomorrow against Lincoln City.
