FA Cup Third Round Draw

The draw for the third round of the FA Cup will be televised live on BBC1 and Sky Sports at approx 3.15pm on Sunday. Although Walsall are of course not in the draw, but it is still an event which captires the imagination of all football fans, whether their team is still involved ot not.

Boxing stars Ricky 'The Hitman' Hatton and Amir Khan will be the men given the job of conducting the draw.

With the Second Round still to play, we are only sure of what numbers the 'big boys' will be. One thing is for sure, there will be at least one non-league side still left in the draw come Sunday. Premiership and Championship team's numbers.

Ties will be played on the weekend of 5/6/7 January 2007, and any scheduled league games on that weekend would have to be moved in the event of either team winning through to round 3 of the FA Cup. If Macclesfield progress our league fixture with them will be re-arranged to a later date.
