Ex-Gillingham and Darlington man arrives

Last updated : 26 September 2006 By Andy Van Hagen
Walsall this morning have announced the signing of French goalkeeper Bertrand Bossu. The keeper arrives having previously represented Torguay, Barnet, Gillingham, Accrington Stanley and Darlington on British shores.

Bossu has spent the last week on trial and played in the reserve fixture with West Bromwich Albion last Wednesday.  Manager 'Dick Dosh' has made no secret of his desire to sign another goalkeeper, to allow 19 year old Rene Gilmartin the opportunity to gain first team experience in a loan deal away from Bescot Stadium.

Bossu will be a part of the squad to make the short journey to Shrewsbury tonight and is likely to be named substitute.
