Ex-Coventry man backk on trial

Patrick Suffo has returned to Walsall on trial and has impressed with two second half goals at Worcester City.

Walsall won the game 4-0 in a game of two halves and two Walsall teams. Both sides won their half 2-0 with a number of trialists making a case for a contract award.

Suffo, now 30, is most known for the role he played in the 'Battle of Bramell Lane', where he saw red after head-butting a West Brom player. Suffo was instantly shipped out on loan and Numancia took him to Spain. After spells in the U.A.E. with Club Dubai and Norweigan side Odd Grenland he has recently been with Maccabi Petah Tikva of Israel.

Another striker being linked with Walsall is the return (shock!) of Michael Ricketts. The striker is supposed to be non-playing trialist, who is proving his fitness to Jimmy Mullen in the hope of securing a deal.
