Tamworth produced the Story of the FA Cup 3rd round by taking Stoke City all the way to penalties. Stoke placed 80 places higher than Tamworth struggled and had to come from behind in the 80th minuite. Extra time then failed to find a winner and Tamworth cruelly had the glory snatched from them. Heart break for Tamworth but they can take the memories and the financial rewards from the cup run and look to ensure Nationwide Conference survival.
Walsall will now travel to the Brittania Stadium in the FA Cup fourth round.
