Demontagnac sacked

Ishmel Demontagnac has been sacked by Walsall after what is being described as "a series of serious breaches of club discipline".

The player is understood to have been arrested at the weekend, and in what appears to have been the final straw for the club, has had his contract terminated.

Demontagnac's final appearance for Walsall lasted 8 minutes against Scunthorpe United in the FA Cup first round, after coming on as a substitute, Ishmel was then sent off for an off the ball incident.

A promising career now lies in ruins, and after showing so much potential, Demontagnac must now try and re-build his reputation, which has now been severely tarred by his exploits on and off the pitch.

The winger was one game short of 100 appearances for the club in just over 3 years, mostly used as a substitute, but the three red cards against his name will always cast doubt over his temperament.
