Dann set to be recalled

Paul Merson looks set to recall 18 year old centre back Scott Dann from his loan spett at Reddich United. Walsall have recently sold defender Julian Bennett to Nottingham Forest, lost Ian Roper to injury and seen Steve Staunton leave to become manager of the Republic of Ireland. This has meant that the centre back position that was once very competitive, has now become one that needs cover.
Merson has been quoted saying " I think its about time we brought Scott back and took a closer look at him". This will be with the intention to see if Dann looks like he will be good enough for a first team squad place for next season.
If we do recall Dann then it will be the second player we have recalled from Reddich this season, having called the now departed Joe Broad back from his loan spell earlier this season.
