Constable scores for reserves

James Constable played his first 90 mins as a Walsall player last night and celebrated with a 25th minute goal as Walsall won 2-1 away to Sheffield United. The young striker signed from non-league Chippenham Town provided the finishing touch to round off a fine Walsall move involving 5 players. This will further enhance his chances of having longer first team run outs in the coming weeks. So far Constable has been restricted to coming off the bench late on as the game has been won. In the few minutes he has been on the pitch he has looked full of running and good in the air and shows signs of being a good partner for Matty Fryatt.

Also special praise after the game was given to Anthony Gerrard and Daryll Taylor who have both showed they are ready and waiting to break back into the first team.
