Club announce new signing

Walsall FC have announced they will be announcing the signing of an 'experienced' player tomorrow. It is unusual for the club to announce signings on a Saturday but the club are waiting for everything to be finalised tonight before revealing the players identity tomorrow. It seems the player has to let other people know before a press release announcement.

This week the club have stepped up their search for a goalkeeper and have brought in a number for trials. It therefore could be guessed that the new arrival could be a keeper and could be ex-Coventry and Crewe keeper Clayton Ince?
