Claridge Released

Steve Claridge today recieved the news he has been released from Bradford City.

It is unlikely that the news will come as a surprise the player, having been allowed to link up with Walsall on loan deadline day.

Claridge was told by Walsall on Thursday night that he would not be offered a deal by us. At 40 years of age, we might be his final club. Claridge scored in his final appearence in a Walsall shirt in the 1-0 away win at Gillingham.

Lee Crooks, Andy Cooke, Owen Morrison, Tom Kearney and Darren Holloway have also been given their P45s
