Broardhurst GONE! Coach in charge

Last updated : 24 April 2006 By Andy Van Hagen
The club have this morning announced that Kevan Broadhurst has been sacked with instant effect.

Walsall relegated on Saturday gave Broadhurst the brief of keeping us in League One. The brief was unfulfilled and he's gone!!

Walsall won only one game under Broardhurst, a 2-1 victory away at Tranmere on St.Patricks Day.

A harsh decision in regards to it not being his team, but realistic considering our points return.

Mark Kinsella will now take charge for the remaining two games of the season. Mick Halsall has not been asked because of the Youth Cup Final tomorrow and also because key decisions need to made regarding youth team pro deals.
