Joe Broad and Scott Dann have both left Walsall on season long loans. They have joined Reddich United in the Conference North. Joe Broad has already spent time on loan at Reddich earlier this season, he was recalled as the injury crisis last month was mounting. He was unable to impress while back at Walsall so he will benefit from this time away, as otherwise he would not be getting any first team action. During his previous loan spell Joe got decent reports so this might be a confidence boost for him.

Scott Dann spent time on loan last season at Koge Boldklub, the Danish club who Walsall have a link up with. He has found himself unable to break into the first team squad this season as he has suffered from having too many centre halfs to compete with f. The signing of Steve Staunton didnt help his cause. Chris Westwood, Julian Bennett, Anthony Gerrard and Ian Roper all above him in the pecking order this loan deal will give him his first regular bout of first team experience.
