Bournemouth target offered terms at Walsall

Bournemouth's local newspaper 'The Daily Echo' say their clubs ongoing transfer embargo appears to have cost them any chance of re-signing Dean Court old boy Jamie Vincent.

The 33-year-old, who made 130 appearances during a successful stint at Bournemouth between 1996 and 1999, linked up with Eddie Howe's squad in training at the start of this week.

But although he was pencilled in to turn out in Friday's pre-season friendly against Spurs, Vincent pulled out at the 11th hour after being offered terms by Walsall.

Vincent was a second half substitute for Walsall in the 2-1 friendly win at Rotherham and if he signs the terms it would be his secont stint at the Bank's Stadium.
