Southampton defender Chris Baird has agreed to stay at Bescot Stadium for another month after putting in some impressive performances for Colin Lee's side since signing on-loan at the end of September. Baird is facing a one-game ban for his sending-off at Sunderland and he could miss the home league game against Norwich and will make a decision whether to overturn the red-card on October 30th. Speaking to the official Saddlers web-site Lee said: "I am delighted that we have been allowed to extend his stay and hopefully all parties concerned will benefit from the arrangement in the month ahead." |
