Baird returns for Saddlers

Walsall manager Colin Lee is expected to make changes for tonight's game against Nottingham Forest as Chris Baird returns from suspension.

Baird is expected to start his first game for Saddlers since extending his loan spell last month and should replaced Darren Bazeley at right-back. Zigor Aranalde could also return to the side at left-back with Jamie Vincent stuggling with the hamstring injury he sustained against Norwich City.

Walsall had hoped to bring Gary O'Neil back to Bescot Stadium for a second loan spell after he was recalled by Portsmouth last week but a deal looks unlikely with Portsmouth still struggling with injuries.

Nottingham Forest have recalled defender Chris Doig from Northampton Town as cover for their defence and Forest manager Paul Hart is hoping that on-loan midfielder Stephen McPhail will recover from a cold.

Walsall (possible) line-up (4-4-1-1):
Walker; Baird, Roper, Ritchie, Aranalde; Osborn, Samways, Emblen, Wrack; Merson, Birch. Subs: Allaway, Hay, Oakes, Corica, Leitao.

Nott'm Forest (possible) line-up (4-4-2):
Ward; Louis-Jean, Morgan, Walker, Thompson; Jess, Stewart, Williams, Reid; Taylor, Harewood. Subs: Roche, Gunnarsson, Bopp, McPhail, Robertson.
