After scoring in his opening trial game Vs West Brom, he continued to impress and has been rewarded with a contract that shows he is seen as a major addition by Chris Hutchings.
As usually works out his competitive debut will more than likely be against Brighton on Saturday, a club he has just served for 18 months on-loan. After his summer release Richards trialled at Leyton Orient before linking up with 'The Saddlers'.
