Another one gone!

Another one gone and another one gone, another one bites the dust!

It seems the release of four players last week was only the start of the Bescot Stadium clear out. The latest victim of the cull: 21 year old winger Daryl Taylor.

After joining Hereford on loan in January, Daryl returned in March and went on to make three substitute appearances before the seasons end. For the final game of the campaign against Barnsley the winger made the bench. A half time replacement for the injured Kris Taylor, Daryl put in a fine performance that gave encouragement for times ahead. It was Daryl however who gave away the penalty that Barnsley then scored from. That was to be his last contribution in a Walsall shirt.

The move was given the 'mutual consent' term and in honesty it is a move that both will benefit from. At this stage in his career Daryl needs first team football. While despite Walsall haveing other right wingers on the books, it is a position that is likely to be strengthened in the summer.
