He began his career with Plymouth but failed to ever establish himself with the Pilgrims and was farmed out on loan to Yeovil and then Torquay. He was released by Plymoth boss Bobby Williamson at the end of last season and joined Walsall on trial. He then impressed Merse in his three appearances in red, starring against Aston Villa on Friday night.
