Ipswich Town are set to sign left winger Gary Roberts on an 'emergency' loan from Accrington Stanley in a deal that will keep the player at Portman Road until January.
Ipswich are currently light in the midfield area with Owen Garvan and Gavin Williams sidelined will illness and injury. Mark Noble is also returning to West Ham next month after the end of his three month loan deal.

The 22-year-old Roberts was at Liverpool on schoolboy forms before joining Crewe, where he made four League appearances for the club.
Walsall are of course visiting Accrington on Saturday and the timing of this deal could not have been better for ourselves. Roberts scored Accrington's winner on Saturday away at Torquay United.
