On Friday Kidderminster took on Canvey Island in the Conference.  Canvey Island had Richard McKinney in goal and Kidderminster had old favourites Wayne Evans and Martin O'Connor in there team while rising star Taiwo Ateino on loan from Walsall was also playing.

Kidderminster won 3-2 in a game full of drama.  With the game being 1-1 with 5 mins to go Wayne Evans brought down Jon Keeling to give away a penalty.  This was slotted away and it looked like Canvey had a late winner.  However Iyseden Christie was brought down by ex-Walsall keeper Richard McKinney who was sent off for the foul, Taiwo Atieno then stepped up beat backup keeper Ashley Harrison from the spot for his fourth goal of the season since his loan move.  This is a superb return for the young Saddler and his confidence must be sky high at the moment with regular competitive games.  Kidderminster then took the lead in injury time.  Not only is Taiwo getting amonst the goals he is getting experience of being in a winning team and one that has promotion aspirations while sampling the pressure the expectation that goes along with this.
