2007/8 Reserve League News

Last updated : 11 June 2007 By Andy Van Hagen
The Pontin's Holiday League has been divided up into regional sections again for the up-coming season, so it will come as no surprise Walsall Res. have been allocated a place in the Central Division.

The Central section features Bradford City, Coventry City, Huddersfield Town, Leicester City, Nottingham Forest, Oldham Athletic, Port Vale, Shrewsbury Town, Stoke City, Walsall, West Bromwich Albion and Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Last season Walsall achieved great success, finishing in 3rd position. Not bad for a league containing the reserves of sides competing in two divisions higher than ourselves.
