Play Offs Here We Come

After the shocking display down at Layer Road Merson's men have gone on a mini run, of sorts. Ten minutes into the Huddersfield match it looked as though the season had gone well and truly pear shaped. However, with the crowd rising as one and getting behind the team (at last) the lads put in a sterling performance to record a fantastic victory.

Sadly, as we have come to expect, this was followed up with a pretty miserable performance against Wrexham in the non too thrilling 2-2 draw.

However Merson, for the first time this season, decided to do what we have been crying out for all season at Ashton Gate. Swamp the midfield thus protecting the non too clever defence and attack on the counter with pace.

This change in formation incorporating the exciting Surman and speedy Daryl Taylor worked dividends as Saddlers chalked up an excellent but rather unexpected victory.

Merson has hinted that he will be sticking with the same line up against MK Dons with the main man himself sitting on the bench. Admittedly he is our most creative player BUT, he can't go on forever and he can still bring himself on if things need changing around.

Although MK Dons (Who?) gained a creditable victory away at Bradford I can see nothing but a home banker for this one.

Prediction: Saddlers 4 MK Dons 0

Play Offs here we come.
