Mister Happy Looks at Luton

Last updated : 21 February 2005 By Mister Happy
Rather unusual i know, but Mister Happy doesn't have much to say about Luton. It is simply one of those places that you choose to ignore. We all know that it actually exists down there somewhere in Bedfordshire but for reasons other than football you wouldn't give this place a second thought. Even with footballing reasons its hard to be positive about the place.

On a more serious note, Luton are by far and away the best side in the league. The league table never lies and currently the Hatters are 7 points clear at the top.

Although the Saddlers whipped their collective asses in the 2-0 victory at Bescot earlier in the season it has to be said that Luton were much the better side. In Howard, Vine and Brkovic they have a very threatening forward line.

Not only are they quick and skillful but they also know how to put it about, if you get my drift. Whilst many Saddlers were outraged by the antics of Howard in the Bescot match i couldn't help but wish that he was in our side. A modern day Andy Rammell if you like.

As the Hatters have only lost 1 previous home game i think the Saddlers' new found optimism in the "Bristol City" formation will rapidly vanish.

If we do come away with a victory you can spank my bottom and call me Mary.

Mister Happy's prediction:

Hatters 3 Saddlers 1
