Truro hail from South Cornwall and this league is the sixth step of the national league system. They are certainly an ambitious outfit but they are two levels below local team Willenhall. They are building a young squad with the intention of storming through the leagues.
It was expected that Joe would drop down the leagues but at 23, having signed a 3 year contract it now seems Joe will play out his football career at non-league level.
Joe Will make his Truro debut away at Portheleven tonight (18th Jan). Truro City currently sit top of the league with 34 points from 17 games.

As it can be seen the teams chasing all have games in hand so its no forgone conclusion that Truro City will gain promotion.
I would hazard a guess that Joe would be a class performer at this level, but seriously has a young Walsall player ever left us and dropped down so many tiers of the football league pyramid? Fans questioned his status in the squad and this proves that we were right!!
Joe is rumoured to have signed a decent contract at Truro and with it being a part time deal he will be able to tot up his income with a job as well. It looks like he will have a good life down south enjoying the riches and being a big fish in a puddle!
