With money tight Micky Adams is not in the position to offer a 'proper' contract as yet but the hopes the non-contract offer will put the club in pole position when funds become available.
Taylor left Hereford after taking too long to agree to a contrat offer, which was later withdrawn. While training with Vale he appeared in the 7-0 win over Rochester, 1-0 win over Stafford Rangers and the draw at an impressive Kidderminster Harriers.
