After Port Vale's 3-1 loss at Notts County last weekend Taylor, along with the entire playing squad, was transfer listed.
So far this season Kris has missed just two games and although the transfer listing was a dent to his hopes of a new deal, he continues to look forward:
He told 'The Sentina'l: "There is no point worrying about things, it's about going out there and performing, whether you are a player on a three-month contract or not, it's not an issue to me,"
"As players you have to be professional - you still have to go out and perform.
"We all know that we can do better and the manager is obviously getting frustrated, because we have proved how well we can play when we beat teams like Sheffield Wednesday and Sheffield United but those are cup games. There have been times in the league where we haven't taken points that we should have done."
He goes onto say following the defeat at Notts County Tuesday's performance against Accrington was "edgy and nervous" and is hoping the side will respond when league leaders Bournemouth arrive at Vale Park on Saturday.
He said: "They will come out fighting after losing to Hereford. It will be a tough game
