Darlington have completed the permanent signing of Tommy Wright from Barnsley.

He joined the Quakers on loan earlier this week, and his debut in Tuesday's 1-1 draw with Bury. He scored the 87th equaliser for Darlington and has done enough to secure a long term deal.

Ricky Ravenhill has also penned a deal with Darlo having also signed on loan last week.

Both players have joined the club for an undisclosed length of time and manager Dave Penney today told his clubs website www.darlington-fc.co.uk:

"We had to take them on loan to have a good look at them to obviously see if they liked us and they did so we've got it sorted. Tommy has moved for a small fee and we've take Ricky on a free transfer. They will be great additions to the squad."
