The Buck, Sacked!!

Grimsby Town have sacked ex-Walsall hero Alan Buckley as manager. 'The Buck' in his third managerial spell was chopped after gaining only two points from their first six games of the season.
The Mariners are currently fifth bottom in League Two and were beaten at home 3-1 by Chester this weekend. The only win of the season came in the Carling Cup after defeating League One Tranmere Rovers.
Another ex-Saddler, Stuart Watkiss, has been named as caretaker manager while the club search for a new boss.
