The 24-year-old began his career at Millwall where he played in the FA Cup final in 2004.
A spell at Stoke followed where he joined Yeovil and Walsall on loan from. He then linked up with former manager Dennis Wise at Leeds United in what proved to be an unsuccessful move following Wise's move to Newcastle.
