Reading frustrated in ex-Saddler hunt

Saturday's edition of 'The Sun' reports Reading have called off a £2.5m move for Southampton defender Andrew Surman because they cannot strike a deal to sell James Harper to Middlesbrough.

Surman, an England U21 international has been attracting big attention for Southampton who are believed to be willing to cash in on their major asset.
