New Rotherham Assistant manager Jimmy Mullen has told 'The Advertiser' he is delighted to be working alongside Ronnie Moore again.

It tool a while longer than he expected and even at a different club. Ex-Walsall manager Mullen was due to become Moore's number two at Tranmere Rovers, a move which was stopped by Moore's surprise sacking.

'Ronnie and I go back a long time,' Mullen said speaking of when the two used to play alongside each other at 'The Millers'. 'He is very passionate about his football with his record last time he was here being first class and I am more than delighted to be working with him again. He wants to win and he was the same when he was a player, whether it be a match or a five-a-side, which is similar to myself.

'It's many years since I was here as captain and it was one of my happiest years ever in football - can you believe twenty-nine years have gone? To be involved with this club again is a dream to me.'
