Moore wants more!

Last updated : 02 June 2009 By Andy Van Hagen
Ex-Walsall striker Stefan Moore has rejected a contract offer by Kidderminster Harriers.

Moore made 9 starts and 15 appearances off-the-bench last season, scoring twice, but found it hard to dislodge first choice pairing (and most successful in the league) Matthew Barnes-Homer and Justin Richards.

However next season it seemed Moore would play a bigger part in 'Kiddy's' plans. Barnes-Homer has yet to put pen-to-paper and Richards has not been offered terms past his contract expiry.

In rejecting his contract re-newal Moore said the deal was not what he was looking for. Apparently he has a few irons in the fire but wants to stay local and is currently letting clubs know of his availability.  He said he'd consider staying at Aggborough if they can improve the offer, although he does acknowledge the financial situation of the club is preventing them offering what he wants.
